The reality TV star said that the ill feeling between Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Sorrentino that dominated the previous edition of the show will continue when the cast return from Italy.
"Of course the drama that happened in Italy is going to carry over to Seaside," she told Digital Spy. "That whole Snooki and Mike thing is definitely going to carry on, the whole fight is going to continue and it actually gets a little intense.
"Mike is a trouble maker...Every time I live with him in Seaside there's an issue and a problem. He loves the trouble, he loves the drama."
Giancola also explained that some of the cast will struggle to cope with the Jersey Shore experience, particularly Vinny Guadagnino.
"I think he was being a little bit homesick like I was at one point when I was on the show," she said. "I think he was feeling a little anxiety.
"I think everybody in the house, it kind of hits them at one point or another...everybody goes through it. From filming in Italy and going straight back to Jersey, it was a lot on everybody."
Giancola recently said that she would be up for a crossover series with Geordie Shore, as she loves to "experience new cultures".
Jersey Shore season five premieres in the UK tonight (April 3) at 9pm on MTV.
