'24' star explains toilet break absence

Kiefer Sutherland has explained why viewers never see his character Jack Bauer take a toilet break during the real-time show 24.

Speaking at American event 'Comic Con', Sutherland told The Live Feed: "In all fairness, we shot a scene where he was going to raid an office, and he ran into a washroom and came out nine seconds later much relieved."

However, Sutherland explained that the scene was never shown: "They cut it out. So whenever they cut to the White House, Jack is taking a pee. And he’s also getting something to drink and eat."
