Chloe first emerged during Day Three of 24, and her trademark 'bulldog chewing a wasp' facial expression quickly endeared her to viewers all over the world. Despite being a self-professed techno-nerd, the analyst was far removed from the trappings of the stereotypical spineless IT geek that action shows love to poke fun at. Instead, she was always prepared to stand her ground and fight to do the right thing, even when it brought her into conflict with her superiors and Homeland Security.
Her relationship with Jack wasn't initially smooth, as her lack of social pleasantries and bluntness didn't endear her to him. He often saw her as part of the red tape he had to cut through in order to find the information that helped him to complete his missions, putting her job at risk by hacking into various government databases.
Their conversations soon became a lot less frosty once he saved a friend of hers from a terrorist attack in Day Four. Since then, she has been his one constant confidante and regularly kept in touch with Jack after he faked his death to escape extradition to China.
Chloe's no-nonsense approach doesn't put the men off her either, although she hasn't fared too well with the opposite sex. Perhaps her demeanour turned her ex-husband Morris to drink, although it ws hinted that his unreasonable behaviour caused their marriage to crumble. Her fractious interaction with Edgar Stiles didn't turn into romance, although it did provide an interesting insight into Chloe's caring persona. Obviously messed around in the past, she has put up a public mask that hides her true feelings, yet the mask certainly slipped when she witnessed Edgar die right in front of her eyes.
At the end of Day Six, she hooked back up with Morris again and it was revealed that she was pregnant. Just how will motherhood affect Chloe and will it permanently remove the scowl from her face? We look forward to finding out in the long-awaited Day Seven of 24...
