Fox: '24 renewal is very tough call'

Fox

Fox president Kevin Reilly has admitted that the network is yet to make a decision about a 24 renewal.

Rumours have surfaced suggesting that the show may not return next year due to the high costs involved in running the series and a run of poor ratings in its Monday night slot.

However, Reilly said that the network is still "proud" of the show and its recent performance.

"It's a very tough call. It's a huge part of our legacy, and there's not a lot of shows that could do a 9 share against the Olympics," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Tremendous sales asset for us still; a show we're so very proud of creatively. So it's not an easy call."
