Annie Wersching will play the main female lead in the seventh season of 24, according to reports.
Wersching, who will star opposite Kiefer Sutherland, will "play an FBI Agent who is in an adversarial relationship with Jack Bauer," according to the Hollywood Reporter. The young actress is best known for a recent recurring role on General Hospital, but has also made appearances in Angel and Supernatural.
In addition, Bob Gunton will reprise his role as Secretary of Defence Ethan Kanin for the upcoming season, following appearances in three episodes of Day 6. He will reportedly be a regular cast member.
