Two new female stars join '24'

The Hollywood Reporter states that both will have recurring roles on the hit real-time thriller, with Carradine playing an FBI Agent alongside Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer. The actress, whose uncle is Kill Bill star David Carradine, is best known for parts in Veronica's Closet and Party of Five.
Pope will reportedly play Samantha Roth, the girlfriend of the new female President's son. The 27-year-old Canadian is best known for her role as Sam in two seasons of the teen comedy Popular. She recently appeared in the Courteney Cox vehicle Dirt.
The new series of 24 will be screened from January 2008, with producers promising a revamp following criticism of the sixth season.
