Kimberly Caldwell
Simon was quite enthusiastic - "If this is the standard we're going to set, then great."
The other judges were similarly impressed.

Patrick Fortson
Simon's comments: "I'm not being rude, but I think the outfit sucks. I'm sorry, I do. If this is the front of the record sleeve, God help American Idol. And I thought the choice of song was bad too." Patrick's dad walked out on stage and defended his son.
Other judges: Style needed work, but song was good.

JD Adams
Simon's comments: "I'm not quite so positive as these two [judges]. I thought it was okay. You look like the American Idol, but based on that... I thought it was okay."
Other judges: Very positive.

Trenyce
Simon's comments: "I thought the song stunk... seriously, an odd song to choose... but I thought you sung it really, really well."
Other judges: Very positive. Lots of energy.

Meosha Denton
Simon's comments: "I think you walked out here as a loser, and that performance comes under the 'so what?' category."
Other judges: Okay. Not enthusastic.

Bettis Richardson
Simon's comments: "I think you blew it. Big time."
Other judges: Not impressed. Paula - "I'm sorry. I was a big fan."

Charles Grigsby
Simon's comments: "I for once agree with these two [judges]. You've done really well... some others have been substandard, but you did well."
Other judges: Good choice of song... good sounding voice. Need to work on projection.

Julia DeMato
Simon's comments: "I think this competition has proven that the girls are so much bitcher than the guys! You've sung better in previous competitions, but you're one of the better contestants in this round and I'd like to see you do well."
Other judges: Paula positive, Randy - vocally good, wasn't special.
