Julia DeMato became the third finalist to be voted off FOX's American Idol on Wednesday night.
Kimberley Caldwell and Rickey Smith joined DeMato in the dubious honour of receiving the three lowest votes. DeMato's performance of Faith Hill's hit Breathe apparently wasn't enough to see her through this particular round.
Incidentally, this isn't the first time DeMato and Caldwell have gone head to head (Smith was swiftly returned to the group in order to re-emphasise an apparent rivalry between the two young ladies) - the first time round, DeMato went through to the final round and Caldwell had to wait for the wildcard group.
