'Idol' Aiken is grand marshal at Raleigh parade

American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken will be the grand marshal of the 59th Annual Christmas Parade in his home town of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Around 100,000 people are expected to turn out for the parade on Saturday, November 22 beginning at 10am. Local TV station WRAL, a CBS affiliate, is planning to televise the entire event live on WRAL-TV5 and WRAL-DT. Aiken recently appeared on WRAL's evening newscast to show North Carolinians his new pad in Los Angeles, CA.
