'American Idol' gears up for third season

Reality TV smash-hit American Idol is gearing up for its third season on FOX with three special episodes airing on consecutive nights next week.
At 8pm on Monday January 19, Tuesday January 20 and Wednesday January 21, viewers will be treated to the now-familiar sight of prospective 'Idols' being delivered either the good or bad news about their audition performances.
