FOX looks as if it will be squeezing every ounce of ratings it can muster from the American Idol machine this season: just two weeks in and the show is already getting a retrospective special.
American Idol: The Road to Hollywood will air next Monday, February 2, at 8pm looking back at the first five episodes featuring the first round audition process. In particular, the one-hour special will focus on the 117 who made it through to the Hollywood stage, to be documented in the episodes next Tuesday and Wednesday.
The familiar performance/result cycle kicks off the following week.
