Abdul 'upset by Cowell pay reports'

Paula Abdul has apparently been upset by reports that Simon Cowell earns a £20.5 million salary.

A former American Idol producer revealed that Cowell was paid £12,500 per minute for his work on the reality show.

Abdul, 46, who allegedly receives £2.5 million each year, was shocked by the news, reports Metro.

"Paula knew Simon was getting paid more but she never imagined it was this much more," said a source.

"She has a lot of concerns. It's ridiculously obvious she's getting pennies compared with Simon."
