Cowell apologises to Osbourne

According to the old saying, there's a first time for everything. Apparently that includes Simon Cowell too, who has sent a letter of apology to the Osbournes.
When Ozzy was injured in a quad-bike accident just before Christmas, Cowell said it was just a "publicity stunt" to boost sales of his single 'Changes'.
What Cowell hadn't realised at the time, however, was that Ozzy's 'publicity stunt' left him with a broken collar bone, eight broken ribs, a punctured lung and a bruised heart.
Inevitably Ozzy's wife Sharon was less than impressed. She fumed: "If I could tar and feather Simon and handcuff him to a lamppost in Piccadilly, I'd do it this instant."
Since then Cowell saw the error of his ways and sent Osbourne an apology letter which read: "I'm writing to you to apologise. When I made the comment about Ozzy's quad-bike accident I only had a little bit of information and thought he only had minor injuries. When I realised it was much more serious, I felt absolutely dreadful. My comment certainly wasn't malicious and I do hope Ozzy is doing OK now. Again, I'm very sorry for speaking out of turn."
Heat reports that Sharon texted Simon back shortly afterwards to say that he was forgiven.
