Abdul ready to leave 'American Idol'?

The singer is allegedly planning her own TV project and is hoping to exit the show as part of a smooth "transition".
"She knows that every season could be her last. Now she's got a new secret venture that she's really excited about," a source told OK!.
Abdul was recently left "saddened" after the body of American Idol reject Paula Goodspeed was found outside her home.
The 30-year-old is said to have become obsessed with Abdul after she failed to pass the audition stages of the show in January 2006.
