Barry Manilow will be one of the celebrity guest judges on American Idol this season, Billboard reports.
The singer-songwriter will join Randy, Paula and Simon on the panel in the episode airing April 20, by which time there should be just seven finalists left. Manilow will go on to perform himself during the results show on April 21.
Meanwhile, producers are said to be trying to persuade Stevie Wonder and Sir Paul McCartney to appear on the show.
