A primetime press conference by President Bush will be covered live by FOX on Tuesday night, pushing tonight's American Idol broadcast to Wednesday, where it will air from 8-9pm.
Phone lines will be open once the show ends on Wednesday night. The results show will then air for one hour on Thursday April 15, live at 8pm ET and tape-delayed in the west.
Other networks are also rescheduling their programmes to make way for live coverage of the presser.
