Rat Pack week next on 'American Idol'

The final five American Idol contestants will sing Rat Pack hits on next week's show, it has been revealed.

Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Matt Giraud and Allison Iraheta will all sing tracks originally performed by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. No mentor details have been unveiled.

Idol season five winner Taylor Hicks is also booked to perform on the results show, playing 'Seven Mile Breakdown' from his new album The Distance.

Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai were the latest hopefuls to be axed from the talent show after this week's disco-themed round. They were joined in the bottom three by Alison Iraheta, though her performance of Donna Summer's 'Hot Stuff' swayed the judges.
