'American Idol' down to final three

The 17-year-old from California sang Janis Joplin's 'Cry Baby' and won praise from Simon Cowell for her duet with Adam Lambert for 'Slow Ride', but that was not enough to save her from the public vote.
Of their performance of the Foghat song, the judge said: "In the battle of the duets, you win the show tonight."
Cowell added that Kris Allen's take on The Beatles' 'Come Together' was like "eating ice for lunch... because it leaves you nothing to remember afterwards", while Danny Gokey's final note on 'Dream On' by Aerosmith was "like watching a horror movie".
Nevertheless, Iraheta's exit left Lambert, Allen and Gokey to compete in next week's semi-final with Adam Lambert, who impressed with Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love' and his duet with Gokey on 'Renegade' by Styx.
The semi-final will see each of the remaining contestants sing one of their own choices and a song picked by the judges.
