Lambert responds to Aiken's attack
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has said that he isn't bothered by Clay Aiken's criticism.

Last week, Aiken wrote on his blog that one of Lambert's performances on the show felt "awful" and "contrived".

"I don't know Clay. I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before," he said in an interview with Access Hollywood.

He added: "If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him."

The artist also revealed that he isn't concerned about reports that show sponsor AT&T may have interfered with the voting.

"I think people are making a big deal out of nothing. A couple of employees handed out a couple of phones and showed people how to use them. I don't think that's a conspiracy of any kind," he said.
