Dioguardi 'bribed' to appear in bikini

Kara Dioguardi has revealed that she was "bribed" by the producers of American Idol to appear in a bikini on the season finale.

The judge confessed that she was terrified to be on screen in a swim suit whilst singing a duet with contestant Katrina 'Bikini Girl' Darrell, WENN reports.

"One of the producers had this idea. I was like, 'That wouldn't be too great. Me in a bikini onstage?'," Dioguardi said.

She also admitted that she changed her mind when the producers offered to make a donation to the charity of her choice.

"They had to bribe me by giving money to charity," she said.
