Allen "flattered" by Lambert crush

Kris Allen has admitted that he is flattered by Adam Lambert's recent confession to Rolling Stone that he found him to be cute while on American Idol.

The show's runner-up, who came out as gay in the magazine's latest issue, said that being Allen's roommate during the season was distracting.

"He's the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show... totally my type - except that he has a wife," Lambert said.

"I'm flattered," Allen told People of his comment.

"And I think it's hilarious," he added.

Lambert and Allen will both be feature in the series's upcoming 52-date tour of the US starting on July 5 in Portland.
