Jonas, Clarkson linked to 'American Idol'

The middle Jonas Brother will reportedly join panellists Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson at the Dallas, Texas audition stage on August 24.
According to the Los Angeles Times, former Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has also been approached to join the panel for a one-off appearance.
A representative for the singer has yet to comment.
Other celebrities confirmed as temporary replacements for departed judge Paula Abdul include Victoria Beckham, Shania Twain, Katy Perry and Mary J. Blige.
