'American Idol' to re-air after voting blunder
Published Wednesday, Mar 23 2005, 16:18 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

In Tuesday night's performance show, incorrect telephone numbers were displayed for three of the eleven remaining contestants. As a result, viewers calling to vote for certain singers actually logged a vote for one of their rivals instead.
FOX has been quick to capitalise on the situation by declaring all votes submitted Tuesday night to be void and rescheduling an encore of the episode tonight (Wednesday) at 9pm.
The results show will now be delayed until Thursday at 9pm.
