Elsewhere in the 9pm hour, ABC's half hour screening of Modern Family took 10.11m, followed by Cougar Town which brought in 6.66m. Meanwhile, Criminal Minds fetched 14.77m for CBS.
CBS continued its ratings stronghold at 10pm as CSI: New York won its slot with 13.69m. ABC's Ugly Betty rose slightly to 4.71m, but still came last in the hour.
Earlier in the 8pm hour, Human Target on Fox jumped to 8.92m, after shedding viewers last week, and Mercy interested 6.78m for NBC.

Charlie Brown Valentine on ABC and New Adventures of Old Christine on CBS tied in the first half hour with 7.51m apiece. Straight afterwards, The Middle hit a series high with 8.25m for ABC, and Gary Unmarried was not far behind with 7.68m for CBS.
Reruns of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on NBC were watched by 4.45m and 5.98m at 9pm and 10pm respectively. The CW, which also screened repeats, collected 1.63m for Life Unexpected at 8pm and 660K Gossip Girl afterwards at 9pm.
