Whitney to be 'Idol' judge?

Producers of the USA hit reality show American Idol have reportedly asked Whitney Houston to judge the show's upcoming fifth season.
According to America's Star Magazine, Whitney has been lined up as a replacement in case existing judge Paula Abdul quits the show for the Fox spin-off So You Think You Can Dance.
The magazine claims that Mariah Carey has also been approached.
