The theme of this week's performance show was songs made famous by the contestants' own idols.
Fans can purchase the entire Top 13 studio performances exclusively at iTunes now, while individual songs are also available for download, it has been confirmed.
The show's creator and executive producer Simon Fuller said that tracks performed by previous American Idol contestants on the show have already sold in their millions, and he predicts that figure could "surge" because of the popularity of this season's singers.
He added: "[The Top 13] have already got America talking."
The Top 13 worked with American Idol's new mentor Jimmy Iovine - chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M - and a string of top producers including Rock Mafia, Rodney Jerkins, Ron Fair, Don Was, Jim Jonsin and "Tricky Stewart".
The compilation album has been released through 19 Recordings and Interscope Geffen A&M.
American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on Fox.
