Skylar Laine has admitted that she feels "relieved" to be out of American Idol.
The 18-year-old was eliminated from the competition this week after her performances of 'Fortunate Son' and 'You Don't Have To Say You Love Me' on Wednesday.
However, Laine told People that she is "really relieved" that she was the one to go, adding that it means "no more stress".
"There's no pressure anymore," she continued. "There's no pressure about songs anymore. I went out on a good note. I loved both the songs. I think I did [well] on both songs, and I'm very happy with both performances."
Laine also revealed that she had told fellow contestant Hollie Cavanagh that she would be safe.
"She thought she was going to go home," she said. "She was in the same place twice before, and she thought it was her time to go home. I just looked at her."
American Idol continues Wednesday on Fox.
