Broadcasters Fox released a statement on Tuesday evening (May 8) confirming that the Talk That Talk singer will perform her new single 'Where Have You Been' on Wednesday, May 23.

Previous performers this season have included Coldplay, Lana Del Rey, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry, while numerous Idol alumni, including last year's winner Scotty McCreery, have also returned to the show.
American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez will perform during this week's results show on Thursday, May 10.
It was rumoured earlier this year that producers were talking to Rihanna and former boyfriend Chris Brown about the possibility of a duet, following their collaboration on remixes of each other's songs.
Four singers - Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez - are still in contention for the American Idol title.
