Joshua Ledet has become the latest contestant to be eliminated from the eleventh season of American Idol.
The 20-year-old gospel singer was sent home during Thursday night's live results show, after host Ryan Seacrest revealed that he had received the lowest number of public votes following his performances of 'Imagine', 'I'd Rather Go Blind' and 'No More Drama' on Wednesday.
The two contestants who will move on to sing for the American Idol title are Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips.
Lisa Marie Presley also took to the stage during the broadcast to perform her new single 'You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet', while former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert appeared for a rendition of his new song 'Never Close Our Eyes'.
Digital Spy users once again voted Sanchez as their favourite performer of the week with over one half of the reader vote, while Phillips and Ledet pulled in 29.6% and 15%, respectively.
The American Idol finale will take place at a special night and time on Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 at 8/7c on Fox.
