Fox staff were said to be concerned by her possible demands, but a source told the New York Post that Carey will not want anything unusual in her rider.
"It's all standard stuff, nothing out of the ordinary," the alleged insider said.
"It's not like they'll need to put a new roof on the building. It's standard lists, whether it's for water, soda, veggies, snacks. It's all fairly normal."
She is also said to be happy to use a number of branded products associated with the talent show's sponsors.
Carey is famed for her supposed backstage demands, with it being rumoured that she has in the past asked for "no busy patterns", "confetti shaped like butterflies" and kittens.
