Sources close to Minaj have now claimed that although there were no further incidents when shooting resumed on Wednesday (October 3), the 'Super Bass' singer is still fuming.
Minaj has apparently told friends that she holds producers responsible for Carey's alleged behaviour and accused them of fuelling disagreements between the pair.
She has insisted that she will walk off the set if another shouting match occurs, according to TMZ.
American Idol bosses nor Minaj have commented on this report.
Nick Cannon came to his wife Carey's defence on Wednesday, claiming that she remains "the strongest and the classiest woman" he has ever known.
