Phillip Phillips has starred in the latest promo for American Idol's upcoming 12th season.
The advert highlights season 11 winner Phillips's journey from working at a family business to storming the charts with his new single 'Home'.
American Idol's latest promotional clip will make its television debut during tonight's (October 24) San Francisco Giants-Detroit Tigers World Series game.
Phillips will also be singing the US National Anthem before the game begins.
American Idol is facing several changes in its 12th season, including a new judging panel comprised of Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj.
Rumours of a feud between Minaj and Carey were fuelled last month when leaked footage showed the two arguing, though producers have since tried to downplay the incident.
The series returns to Fox on Wednesday, January 16 and Thursday, January 17 at 8/7c.
