A.J. Gil became the third finalist to leave FOX's "American Idol" last night.
Hosts Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman revealed the three of the eight who polled the lowest votes -- Christina Christian, Ryan Starr and A.J..
Christina was then told she was safe until the next week, leaving just Ryan and A.J.. Of the two, A.J. polled the fewest viewer votes for his performance the night before.
