'Idol' producer gets frustrated by feuds

Lythgoe revealed that he gets frustrated by the constant bickering between the two judges, but conceded that their feuds are inevitable due to the nature of the programme.
"They make me sick sometimes," Nigel explained. "It's just a natural reaction over the years of being together. It's the fun of the fair. It's a dysfunctional family.
"There's a boredom factor that creeps in during the day because you can get bored listening to song after song after song, and then, they start picking on each other."
Nigel added that Cowell and Abdul sometimes save their wrath for fellow judge Randy Jackson and presenter Ryan Seacrest.
"Randy's the oil over troubled water that smoothes everything out, but people get annoyed with him because he is just that and there's no edge to him sometimes," he said.
"So Paula will turn on him and ask him to have his own opinion. They even turn on Ryan Seacrest for being insincere."
