Jackson pulled 'Idol' comeback show?

Michael Jackson pulled out of appearing on the final of American Idol at the last minute, say reports.

According to The Sun, Jackson had agreed to perform on the reality show and was trying to keep his comeback gig a secret.

However, shortly before the programme aired, the veteran popstar apparently told producers: "I can’t do it. Everyone will hate me."

A source said: "This was his big chance but he got stage fright."
