Ty Murray injured on 'DWTS'

Ty Murray has become injured rehearsing with his partner for Dancing With The Stars, say reports.

According to People, the rodeo star was struck in the face when partner Chelsie Hightower’s sound pack fell off during rehearsals.

"It was bleeding for a little while and is slightly black and blue but I kept ice on it," he said. "It’s not a big deal to me because in bull riding you see that from time to time, but I guess people aren’t used to seeing a little blood in the ballroom."

Murray plans to stay in the competition but has joined a list of wounded celebrities during this season's show.

His wife Jewel suffered a fractured tibia during rehearsals prior to the start of the new season, Steve-O from Jackass complained of back problems and The Girls Next Door’s Holly Madison battled a rib injury.
