Latest 'Dancing With The Stars' result

Lil' Kim has become the ninth celebrity to be voted off this year's Dancing With The Stars.

Despite being a consistent high scorer and earning positive praise from the judges for her two performances, the rapper and professional partner Derek Hough were given the boot during last night's quarter finals results show.

Judging her waltz, panellist Len Goodman had admitted that he was "shocked at the quality of that dance", while Bruno Tonioli said "you are in your element... your booty can do no wrong", following her salsa.

Speaking to OK! after her elimination, she said: "I'm okay. I would love to still be here - who wouldn’t want to make it to the finals?

"But, at the same time, I still have my other life and I get to go back into the studio. I get to do everything I used to do. It’s mixed emotions, I guess!"

Despite having dropped to second to last place this week, Lil' Kim's score of 52 was still significantly higher than the 46 points scored by Ty Murray, who confessed that he was "a little surprised" to still be in the competition.

Next week's semi finals will see the remaining four couples perform their final two unlearned ballroom or Latin dances from the first six weeks of the competition.
