'Dancing With The Stars' to alter format?
Published Thursday, Jul 16 2009, 12:10 BST | By Lara Martin

According to E! Online's Watch With Kristin, bosses have discussed increasing the initial number of celebrity contestants to 16.
It would then follow that two couples would be axed each week during the programme's ten-week run.
A representative for ABC has refused to comment, although host Tom Bergeron recently announced that this year's lineup would be revealed on August 17.
The eighth season of the competition was won by Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, who triumphed over actor Gilles Marini and reality star Melissa Rycroft in the live final.
