Schwimmer: 'Gray should have stayed'

Lacey Schwimmer has admitted that she would have liked to have seen Macy Gray go further on Dancing with the Stars.

The professional dancer, who is partnered with Iron Chef America's Mark Dacascos on the show's ninth season, felt that the contestant was "a breath of fresh air".

She told People: "I think Macy should have stayed around. I thought that she was a breath of fresh air for the show. She was the new and improved Cloris Leachman.

"Cloris was entertaining beyond belief and I feel like Macy Gray had that potential to be that entertaining thing for the show."

The 'I Try' singer recently cancelled a television appearance because she was upset by her elimination.
