Carter 'respectfully rejected by Hightower'

The singer recently admitted that he had developed a crush on the 20-year-old dancer, who is teamed with snowboarder Louie Vito in the ABC show.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said: "She respectfully rejected me! But it was respectful.
"I'm going to keep it professional right now. I respect her. She wants to win, also, with her partner. And I don't want to jeopardise that and I don't want to get in their way."
His dancing partner Karina Smirnoff added: "It would be only respectful to Louie and Chelsie that the lovebirds wait until the end of the season!"
Carter and Smirnoff will perform the rumba on tonight's show.
