The Entourage actress was eliminated during last night's live show after landing in the bottom two alongside former NFL star Michael Irvin.
She had received just 17 points for her samba with partner Maksim Chmerkoyskiy.
The judges had agreed that her routine was too "safe", with Len Goodman explaining: "It was like cooking - you had all the ingredients but it lacked the flavour."
Speaking after her exit, she said: "I definitely know a few more steps and I've had a great time. I've loved every moment of it. I made some great friends and I loved my time with Maks."
Goodman had earlier admitted that he would be sorry to see either Mazar or Irvin leave the competition, saying: "They both had the most difficult of all Latin dances - the samba. The week before Michael's quickstep was top notch and Debi's tango was fantastic.
"We know there is great potential there and they have a long way to go. Whoever goes, I think we will miss them on the show."
Politician Tom DeLay announced that he was withdrawing from the competition after sustaining stress fractures in both his feet. He had danced on Monday's show despite being advised by producers and doctors not to.

Host Tom Bergeron said that in the interests of fairness the elimination would continue as planned and invited DeLay back to perform on the season finale if he had recovered from his injury.
The results show opened with Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya performing their samba routine for a second time after the judges voted it their favourite dance of the week. Viewers were also entertained by Queen Latifah, who sang two songs, and hip-hop dance troupe JabbaWockeeZ.
Elsewhere, former Dancing With The Stars contestant Steve Wozniak used a mathematical formula to predict that Donny Osmond and Mya would be the top two, while Fantasy Football expert Matthew Berry used statistics to suggest that the finalists would be Aaron Carter and Natalie Coughlin.
Next week, the remaining celebrities will perform either the Bolero, Charleston, Lambada or Two-Step.
