Former Dancing With The Stars champion Helio Castroneves has announced that his partner is expecting a baby.

The Indianapolis 500 star, who won the ABC show in 2007, will welcome a daughter with girlfriend Adriana Henao in January.

They have already decided to name her Mikaella.

Speaking to Indy Star, he joked: "We thought about calling her Indy but we thought that might be a little too much!"

Castroneves, 34, added that he had not started making wedding plans with Henao but he thought it was the "natural next step".
