'DWTS' Smirnoff loving being single

Dancing With The Stars professional Karina Smirnoff has said that she is enjoying being single.

The dancer, who split from Maksim Chmerkovskiy in September, also dismissed rumours that she is romancing her celebrity partner Aaron Carter.

"I love being single," she told Hollyscoop. "Sometimes I read [the rumours] and wish I was living that life. I've learned to deal with it and now I'm just glad they care."

When asked about her relationship with popstar Carter, she said: "It's just a rumour. We're just friends and professionals who dance and have a good time."

Yesterday, Carter claimed that the "energy" on the ABC show had improved since Chmerkovskiy was voted off.
