The actress, who was 29 when she was cast as 16-year-old aspiring journalist Andrea Zucker, told Access Hollywood Live's Billy Bush that she enjoyed spending time with her fellow castmates more than working on the teen drama.
"I don't think I miss it," she said. "I miss the people, but I see them, Jason [Priestly] and I are really close."
She continued: "I think all the good stuff, I did that stuff and now I'm moving on now. I mean, the people I loved on the show, so that's great when I can be with them."
Carteris portrayed bookish Andrea for five seasons, before departing the series in 1995. She later reprised the character for a series of guest appearances before the show wrapped five years later.
Despite her reluctance to relive her days on Beverly Hills, 90210, the 50-year-old actress has teased that she would definitely be interested in competing on Dancing with the Stars in the future.
"If they asked me, I'd try my best," she added. "Of course I would [appear on the show]."
The actress recently guest starred on two episodes of the sci-fi drama The Event, which airs at 9pm ET/8pm CT on Mondays on NBC.
