Dancing with the Stars professional Tony Dovolani has revealed that he's rooting for Kirstie Alley to become this year's champion.

The Yugoslavian-born dance pro was paired with Wendy Williams this season, but the duo were eliminated during the second week of the competition.

Speaking to Parade, Dovolani insisted that he is impressed by the kindness that Alley has shown to the ABC series' cast and crew.

"One of the most pleasantly surprising things about her was that she has one of the most giving hearts you can ever come across," he remarked. "She just grew even more in my heart. She is so courteous and she has that quality that makes the most insignificant person feel important. You don't expect it, but she has it."

Offering his predictions for the finals, Dovolani suggested that NFL star Hines Ward will be Alley's most serious challenger.

"I thought he was going to be an athlete with an ego but he's a cool dude," the former World Rhythm Champion explained. "He's the most chilled-out dude, most consistent on the dancefloor, smiles all the time, so I really think it will between him and Kirstie."

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays and Tuesdays on ABC.
