The former Hills and Laguna Beach star was the third celebrity to be eliminated from the current season of the ABC dance competition, prompting shock from judge Len Goodman who thought she could have made it to the final.
Writing in her weekly Access Hollywood blog, Cavallari said: "I'm so sad it's already over but extremely grateful for this incredible experience! I've had the time of my life and wouldn't trade it for the world."
She went on to thank everybody who voted for her and professional partner Mark Ballas, and wished the remaining contestants luck throughout the remainder of the show.
Cavallari added: "Even though this is my last DWTS blog, I've only just begun! So much to look forward to and I'm excited to bring you guys along with me on my next journey!"
The reality star had scored 24 out of a possible 30 points for her final routine, a samba inspired by the most memorable year of her life.
Cavallari later joked that perhaps she had made a mistake in choosing the year she graduated and moved to LA as the most memorable year of her life in comparison to some of the more emotional stories recounted by other contestants.
