Bristol Palin has confessed that she is worried about gaining weight on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars.

The daughter of former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin signed on last month to return to the ABC reality series, due to begin later this year.

Talking to People, Bristol revealed that she was dreading hearing criticism about her size as she felt bullied during her first appearance on the show in 2010.

"My goal [is] not to gain any weight. I think it's hurtful for any girl when someone's criticising their weight on a national level. It's an awkward position," the 20-year-old explained.

"[I'll take it] as serious as I took it last time. If I get voted off week one, then I get voted off week one. Hopefully I stick in there longer."

Bristol recently defended her return to Dancing with the Stars, saying that she would be criticised no matter what she does and therefore wants to "have fun with it".
