Emmitt Smith has said he has no regrets about his time on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, the NFL star admitted that it was sad to be cut just prior to Dancing with the Stars' two-night finale.

"At the end of the day, I have to look myself in the mirror and I did this morning. And I did last night. And I asked myself one question: Did I give it my all? Did I cheat her - [my partner, Cheryl Burke] - in any way? And my answer is, 'No'," Smith declared.

The athlete went on to say: "I gave it my all. I came in with the right attitude and I pushed, she pushed. And I pushed myself to a limit that I thought I couldn't go to and that part I'm proud of."

Smith was praised by his professional partner Burke, who stressed that the athlete proved to be a dedicated dancer.

"Emmitt did such a great job. I'm so proud of his determination and what he went through," Burke said. "I mean, we worked so hard and we couldn't have done it any better."

Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars begins its two-night finale event on Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
