Vincent: Series 1 & 2 on DVD
Ray Winstone, has become one of the UK’s most popular stars through films such as Scum, Ripley’s Game and Sexy Beast, and television dramas Sweeney Todd, Henry VIII, Tough Love, She’s Gone and Lenny Blue. Winstone’s role in Vincent has further consolidated his appeal, with a weekly audience of more than 7 million viewers.
Starring alongside Winstone in Vincent are former Coronation Street star Suranne Jones who plays Beth, Joe Absolom (Eastenders) as Robert, Angel Coulby (Hustle) as office secretary Gillian and Ian Puleston-Davies (Funland) who plays John. Eva Pope (Sorted) appears as Vincent’s ex Cathy and Philip Glenister (Life on Mars) plays DCI David Driscoll who is Cathy’s new lover.
Set in Manchester, Vincent and his team are always ready to tackle any case, whether it be suspected adultery, murder or robbery. With a backdrop of turmoil in Vincent’s personal life – his partner Cathy recently left him for DCI David Driscoll (Philip Glenister) and becomes pregnant. Vincent is one of the best dramas to emerge in recent years.
