Bodies: Series 2 and Finale on DVD

This 4-disc DVD includes all the episodes from Series 2, the finale and a unique, exclusive special feature of interviews with stars Max Beesley, Patrick Baladi and writer/producer Jed Mercurio.
Rob Lake is working out his last days in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at South Central Infirmary, and his future looks bleak since he blew the whistle on his boss for being a dangerous and incompetent surgeon.
Senior Consultant Roger Hurley has abused his power and concealed grave mistakes – but it’s Rob’s position that has become untenable. Rob realises that his career is effectively over and to add insult to injury, Hurley takes much pleasure in introducing him to his replacement, Registrar James Moore.
Tony Whitman is finding it hard to come to terms with being demoted and having the dangerously inept Hurley as a boss. With his nose firmly out of joint, he sets about plotting Hurley’s downfall.
The gripping 90 minute finale takes up the story three years later. Rob’s life has changed beyond recognition, but it’s not long before Hurley resurfaces – with a police caution, a broken marriage and the same medical skills – and Rob must confront his nemesis one more time. Writer Jed Mercurio keeps the tension tight, the humour black and the blood pressure rising, right to the very end.
Bodies: Series 2 and Finale is available to buy on DVD from Monday, December 26.
